What have we achieved this year? (2021)

28 June 2021

It's been a year that none of us could have predicted. But what have we achieved?

Read our annual report to find out what difference we made in 2020/21.

If you want to know the details about what we've achieved in the past year and what we will be focusing on for the year ahead, then this is the document for you.

You can read a few examples of how we have helped people who have called our Helpline, how we've supported NHS volunteers and the difference we've made to services. There’s also some examples of the great work our wonderful volunteers have done.

Take a read and let us know what you think.

The highlights

We'd had lots of great moments last year but here are a few key highlights. In 2020 - 2021 we:

  • made it easier for D/deaf people to get a translator when they visit East Kent hospitals

  • ensured people get the right support at Covid testing centres

  • found a solution for parents who needed to change their children's mental health medication
