What did you tell us in February 2021?

15 March 2021

Thanks to everyone who shared their story with us over the first two weeks of February despite the big freeze!

Every day people contact us to share their experience of using one of Kent's health or social care services. Some people call us to share a positive experience and others get in touch to let us know what could have been better.

Whatever it is, we want to hear about it. All your stories are anonymised and then shared directly with the right decision maker. You experience can help improve a service for the next person.

We can't make it better unless we know about it!

Usually we produce a monthly report, but for Lockdown 3 we wanted to get your feedback heard quicker, so we are producing a fortnightly report instead.

In the first two weeks of February, the following issues were important to you:

  • Positivity about the vaccine programme but some questions about how some communities can get their vaccination

  • Impact of lockdown particularly on elderly and vulnerable people

  • A significant number of calls from people who can't get an NHS dentist appointment

  • Difficulties getting support from Community Mental Health Teams and the Children & Adolescent Mental Health service
