As part of a series, we are releasing eight reports over the next few weeks to highlight our findings.

Healthwatch Kent visited the community mental health clinic at Albion Place, Maidstone, in October 2018 to gather feedback from patients and carers. While many people felt involved in their care and knew how to access crisis support, concerns were raised about the clinic’s telephone system, appointment cancellations, access to information and support, and the availability of care plans.

Our report includes recommendations to improve communication, patient involvement, and access to services.
