At EK360, we believe there is nothing more powerful than hearing directly from a person about their experience. We are delighted to see a greater range of opportunities for people to share their personal experience and insights to help improve, shape and determine the future of services. We have a growing team of Lived Experience staff and volunteers. Here is a small sample of the kind of work they have been up to recently:

Social media short films helping to reach out to Young Adults

EK360 hosts three Mental Health Lived Experience posts on behalf of NHS Kent and Medway. One of these posts specialises in children and young people’s mental health.

EK360 is really proud to share four short films led and project managed by our colleague, Tamsyn, who is the Lived Experience Lead for Young Adults. These brilliant videos were developed for and with young adults, to raise awareness of mental health and wellbeing support for this age group.

Bringing Lived Experience Into the Conversation

Decision-making is most effective when it includes voices with lived experience – voices that bring real human experiences into the conversation and lead to more empathetic and user-centred solutions.

Damian, a Lived Experience volunteer at EK360, is an example to us all of the importance of lived experience representation in mental health services.

Discover the impact that lived experience is making in designing services and driving innovation.
