Medway is working towards becoming a Marmot Place, committing to long‑term action to reduce health inequalities and create a fairer, healthier future for all residents.

To establish a clear baseline, Medway Council invited organisations across the system to share engagement, insight and research gathered over the past five years. This report brings together 90 submissions — from major system partners to grassroots community groups — capturing lived experiences and real voices to show how inequalities are affecting people’s everyday lives. The findings will inform the next phase of Medway’s Marmot programme, helping to identify priorities, address gaps in understanding and shape future engagement so no community is overlooked.
